The JOANS universal hedge trimmer attachment is the Made in Italy solution for those who want to transform their brush cutter into a powerful hedge trimmer without purchasing a dedicated tool. With a blade featuring a working length of 520 mm and a thickness of 2.5 mm, it allows for precise cutting of hedges and shrubs with branches up to Ø 10 mm in diameter, and is compatible with engines up to 31 cc displacement. Versatility is the strong point of this accessory: it comes with 5 plastic adapters for shaft diameters of 24, 25, 25.4, 26, and 27 mm and fits natively on 28 mm shafts, thus covering nearly all brush cutters on the market—Alpina, Stihl, Husqvarna, Oleo-Mac, Echo, Shindawa, and many others. The release knob allows you to adjust the head’s angle from +60° to -90°, ensuring maximum flexibility when working on vertical, horizontal, and sloped hedges. The package includes a grease fitting with the initial greasing already performed; it is recommended to repeat lubrication approximately every 30 hours of operation to ensure mechanical longevity and consistent performance over time. For installing the adapter inserts, the use of medium/strong-set threadlocker is recommended.
