The DeWALT DCH172P2T hammer drill combines an 18V brushless motor with an ultra-compact and lightweight design, engineered for professional installation of anchors and fasteners in masonry and concrete. The 1.4-joule impact energy (EPTA 05/2009) allows for drilling into solid concrete up to 16 mm in diameter, with an optimal drilling range between 4 and 10 mm—ideal for small-diameter mechanical fasteners. The brushless motor reduces internal friction and heat generation compared to traditional brushed motors, ensuring longer battery life and less wear over time. The lightweight design of 1.8 kg (without battery) and the 360° rotating side handle ensure easy control even during extended work sessions, while the built-in LED light improves visibility at the drilling site. The kit includes two 5.0 Ah XR batteries, providing extended runtime on the job site without interruptions for recharging.
