The brushless motor gives this grinder market-leading performance, offering a speed of 9,000 rpm. The 1-Touch Guard system allows for quick and easy guard adjustments without the need for tools. The overmolded rear and side handles offer the user greater grip and comfort in a variety of configurations to suit user preferences. The DCG409 grinder features an electronic clutch that reduces kickback if the disc pinches or stalls. An automatic braking system stops the disc from moving when the switch is released. Supplied in a kit with POWERSTACK batteries, which use pouch cell technology to deliver superior performance in three areas: power, efficiency, and durability. This translates into 50% more battery life and power, all in a body that's 25% more compact than the DCB183 battery.
